Ben Brand
In 2010 Ben Brand graduated as a director from the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam. Ben focusses on storytelling, loves to create visually appealing, touching moments and is very skilled in directing kids. His very first commercial for the 'Young Director Award' festival in Cannes won several awards including the Golden Hammer in Latvia, the Silver Drum in Slovenia, a Cresta Award in New York, got nominated twice for the Cannes Lions and gained over 50.000.000 views worldwide. His first feature film, “Find the dumb bitch and throw her into the river” has had a worldwide festival tour and caught the attention of festivals from North America to Asia. Since then, he has worked mainly for a wide array of international clients and in recent years has moved his interest and focus towards the Dutch market. Ben lives and works in Amsterdam.
